The letter suggested banning the Women's March and celebrating International Hijab Day on that day
The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs wrote a letter to the Prime Minister seeking a ban on the Women's March. According to details, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri wrote a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan on March 8 to ban the Women's March. Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri has written a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan in which it has been proposed to ban Women's March on March 8 and to observe International Hijab Day on that day.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri said that women's march on Women's Day or any other title should not be allowed to mock Islamic rituals, values and hijab. Apparently the "Women's March" has been dubbed the protection of women's rights, but the manner in which banners, playcards, and slogans are displayed on this march they give the impression that perhaps the problem is more with the social system provided by Islam than with women's rights.
''Pakistan is an Islamic state and the majority here want to live their lives according to Islamic teachings.'' The letter suggested that the world be drawn to the discriminatory treatment of Muslim women in occupied Kashmir and India on the occasion of Hijab Day, and called on the international community to end this attitude of the Indian government.
