The teaser of the film on the life of Pakistan's first female lieutenant general has been released
The first glimpse of the telefilm 'Ek Hai Nigar' about the life of Pakistan's first female lieutenant general Nigar Johar has come to light.
The news had been circulating for some days that Mahira Khan was working on an ISPR project and these days she was busy shooting a film at the Army Medical College in Rawalpindi.
However, on the occasion of Independence Day, the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) released a teaser of Mahira's new telefilm on its YouTube channel in which Mahira can be seen dressed in a Pakistan Army uniform.
The telefilm will be aired on private TV and will feature other actors including Mahira Khan, Bilal Ashraf and Sohail Sameer.
'Aik hai Nigar's' writer Umairah Ahmed while its director is Adnan Sarwar. The producers of the telefilm are Nina Kashif and Mahira Khan.
It should be noted that Nigar Johar is the only woman in the history of Pakistan to hold the post of Lieutenant General and she belongs to the Army Medical Corps.
