Afghanistan's territory will not be used against any country, Taliban spokesman
KABUL: Afghan territory will not be used as a base against any country, the Afghan Taliban has announced.
According to foreign media, Afghan Taliban spokesman Mohammad Naeem, while describing the meeting of the Taliban delegation with Chinese officials, said that the Taliban would not allow the territory of Afghanistan to be used against any other country.
Mohammad Naeem said that after the assurance of the Taliban delegation, the Chinese officials promised that they would not interfere in the affairs of Afghanistan and would help for the peace and stability of Afghanistan.
International media say the Taliban could gain international strength after meeting with Chinese officials at a time when tensions are rising in Afghanistan.
It should be noted that as soon as the withdrawal of US and coalition forces from Afghanistan began, the Afghan Taliban have established their control by attacking several districts, while fighting is still going on in several areas.
