LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan has filed a reply to the defamation suit filed by PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif.


Imran Khan has also sought dismissal of Shahbaz Sharif's defamation suit along with fine.


It may be recalled that Shahbaz Sharif has filed a defamation suit against Imran Khan on the Panama Lakes issue.


The reply submitted by Imran Khan said that the offer of money did not come directly from Nawaz Sharif or Shahbaz Sharif but came through someone. A person named Omar Farooq said that the offer is, if Imran Khan Panama They are willing to pay a lot of money to stop following Lex.


The reply said that Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif had tried to give a BMW car to an army chief in the past. An audio tape of Shahbaz Sharif with a judge has also come to light.

According to the petition filed by the Prime Minister, the allegations against Shahbaz Sharif do not come under the contempt claim. Shahbaz Sharif did not send any special notice in 60 days as per the law. Shahbaz Sharif issued only legal notice on May 8, 2017 without fulfilling the legal requirements. Sent.


In response to the defamation suit, it has been said that Shahbaz Sharif has been a political opponent for two decades. Shahbaz Sharif himself has made several statements to defame him.


In reply it has also been said that the statement about bribery offer was made in the same way as it was said, Shahbaz Sharif's reputation may have been affected due to some other reason and not because of my statement. The claim made by Shahbaz Sharif is false. Filed by distorting the basis and facts, Shahbaz Sharif is trying to drag political issues in the courts, the claim filed by Shahbaz Sharif does not fall under the jurisdiction of this court.


In the reply submitted by Imran Khan, it has also been requested that Shahbaz Sharif's claim be dismissed with a fine and a lawyer's fee be collected from Shahbaz Sharif.
