Lytton Das moved up 5 places to 12th position, Mushfiqur Rahim moved up 8 places to joint 17th position, Angelo Mathews moved up 6 places to 15th position.

Bangladesh duo Lytton Das and Mushfiqur Rahim and Sri Lanka's Angelo Mathews have made great strides in the top 20 for Test batsmen since the latest update. Lytton Das, who batted brilliantly in the home series against Sri Lanka, has moved up five places to 12th position, while his teammate Mushfiqur Rahim, who became the first Bangladeshi batsman to score 5,000 Test runs during the series. The rankings have risen to 17th position jointly.

Angelo Mathews ended the Test series with two centuries and as the reward for becoming the highest run scorer with 344 runs, he moved up 6 places to 15th position in the latest rankings.

Australia's right-hander Marinus Lubushin is still the world's No. 1 batsman, followed by Steve Smith, New Zealand captain Ken Williamson, England's Joe Root and Pakistan's captain Babar Azam.

Sri Lankan fast bowler Kasan Rajitha moved up an impressive 17 places to 45th position in the latest bowling rankings. Asitha Fernando, who took 13 wickets in the two-Test series against Bangladesh, also made great strides and moved up 44 places to 52nd position. 

Australia captain Pat Cummins is at the top of the rankings, while the Indian pair of Ravi Chandran Eshwan and Jaspreet Bumrah are not far behind. Pakistan's Shaheen Shah Afridi is at the fourth position.
