Lahore Qalandars pacer took 18 wickets in PSL 7, Harris scored 166 runs for Peshawar Zalmi in 5 innings with an impressive strike rate of 186.51.

Young wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris and fast bowler Zaman Khan are strong candidates ahead of the announcement of the squad for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies starting next month.

These players gained fame for their outstanding performances in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and showed their prowess without any uncertainty.

While Harris played a charming stroke play, Zaman Khan bowled brilliantly in the death overs. ''Zaman is part of the training camp for the upcoming series.''

Zaman of Lahore Qalandars became the emerging cricketer of this year's PSL after taking 18 wickets while Harris scored 166 runs in five innings and maintained an impressive strike rate of 186.51 while representing Peshawar Zalmi.

The squad is expected to be announced on May 23, and players taking part in the county championships in the UK will return home for a warm-up camp starting in the last week of May.

The West Indies series venue Rawalpindi and Multan will be kept as backups. The PCB will not implement any biosecure protocol and this will be the first series without bubble management and code SOPs after the Covid 19 epidemic.
