Saudi Arabia openly came out in support of Pakistan's position on Kashmir issue

Open support from OIC foreign ministers is a great achievement for Islamabad. Countries that did not name Kashmir for fear of India's displeasure are today supporting Pakistan's position on Kashmir.

A number of Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan, have openly supported Pakistan's position on the Kashmir issue. 

He said that many OIC member states, including Arab countries, were afraid to name Kashmir for fear of India's displeasure. Today, they are openly supporting Pakistan's position on which the government deserves congratulations. 

Addressing the inaugural session of the 48th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers at Parliament House Islamabad, the Saudi Foreign Minister said that the people of Yemen were being provided humanitarian assistance while the international community was working for a just solution to the Kashmir issue. 

He said that they want a peaceful solution to the Palestinian problem in accordance with international resolutions.

OIC Secretary General Hussein Brahim Taha said that he would continue to defend the interests of the Muslim Ummah. Emphasized the need to find peaceful and sustainable solutions. 

The OIC Secretary General said that the Kashmiri people should be given the right to self-determination in accordance with the UN resolutions. According to Kashmir insists on resolution of the dispute.

In his address, Nigerian Foreign Minister Hassoumi Massoud outlined the challenges facing the Ummah in the form of extremism and Islamophobia. 

We want the peaceful solution of the Kashmir issue. We fully support the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The international community must play its role for a just solution to the Kashmir issue.

Saudi Foreign Minister congratulates Pakistan on presiding over the 75th Independence Day of Pakistan and the 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers. 

"Saudi Arabia will continue to support the Palestinians on the Palestinian issue. We want a peaceful solution to the Palestinian issue in accordance with international resolutions. The establishment of an independent Palestinian state is the right of the Palestinian people," he said.

He expressed full support of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and said that the international community should play its role for a just solution to the Kashmir issue. 

Displaced people will be assisted Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister Mukhtar Talbardi said that a common strategy is needed to unite the Muslim Ummah and tackle the challenges.

Addressing the 48th meeting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers on behalf of Kazakhstan and the Asia Group, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan said that he congratulated Pakistan on its excellent hosting of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers. 

The world is facing many conflicts at the global level, Russia is suffering from the Ukraine conflict and the global economy is suffering.

He said that Kazakhstan wants a just solution to the Kashmir issue in accordance with the resolutions of the Security Council. 

According to the resolutions of the Security Council, they also want a just solution to the issue of Palestine. We are concerned about the situation, Afghanistan needs urgent humanitarian assistance.

Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry sources said that all the countries have assured Pakistan to highlight the Kashmir issue. 

On the second day of the meeting and in the final statement, Pakistan's position on Kashmir will be fully supported. He wants the disputes between the Muslim countries to be resolved peacefully and a joint strategy to be adopted on the issues of the Islamic world.

Meanwhile, the Indian media has turned its guns on the OIC summit. Due to its population, India has been invited to the OIC meetings as an observer. 

Many Indian broadcasters are secretly talking about seeking answers from other Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, while others have called it a failure of the Modi government.
