New ODI rankings, Imam-ul-Haq among the top 10 batsmen
Babar Azam's first position was retained, Fakhr Zaman was relegated to 12th position
Pakistan's opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq has joined the top 10 ODI batsmen after scoring a century in the first ODI against Australia.
Imam-ul-Haq played a brilliant innings of 103 off 96 balls but he failed to win the match for Pakistan as Australia won the first ODI by 88 runs.
Meanwhile, his fellow opening batsman Fakhr Zaman has slipped two places and is now 12th in the rankings after a disappointing performance against Australia.
Despite not leading Pakistan to victory against Australia, captain Babar Azam has retained his number one position in the rankings after scoring a half-century in the first ODI.
There is a gap of 61 points between Babar Azam and second-ranked Virat Kohli and Babar Azam will try to widen this gap and help Pakistan return to the series.
Australian captain Aaron Finch slipped one place to 7th after a disappointing 23-run innings in the first ODI.
England's Johnny Bairstow is now ahead of them. According to the latest ICC ODI batsmen's rankings, Babar Azam is first with 872 points, Virat Kohli is second with 811 points, Ross Taylor is third with 794 points and Rohit Sharma is fourth with 791 points.
Johnny Bairstow is fifth with 789 points, Aaron Finch is seventh with 771 points, Rossi van der Dawson is eighth with 769 points, David Warner is ninth with 758 points and Imam-ul-Haq is tenth with 746 points.
