Babar XI defeated PSL 7 for the eighth time in a row

Babar XI defeated PSL 7 for the eighth time in a row, Rizwan XI won the tournament for the seventh time.

Victory was completely angry to Karachi Kings, Babar XI lost for the eighth time in a row in PSL 7, Rizwan XI won the tournament for the seventh time before the match in the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Karachi. 

Kings gave Multan Sultans a target of 175 runs to win. In the 23rd match of the event being played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Karachi Kings won the toss and invited Multan Sultans to bowl first.

Karachi Kings captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to bat first. After Clarke and Sharjeel Khan took the score to 77, Clarke got out on the total score of 70 and 40 on the individual score, then on the total score of 84, Sharjeel Khan also returned to the pavilion by scoring 36 runs.

Qasim Akram (109) and Rohail Nazeer (21) were all out for a total of 118. Muhammad Nabi left the pavilion with a total score of 166. Karachi Kings scored 174 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated overs, with Clarke 40 and Emad Wasim 32 not out. Shah Nawaz Dhani of Multan Sultans made 2, Roman Raees, Blessing Mazrabani, Imran Tahir and Khush Dil Shah made 1 each.

Changes have been made in both the teams for the match and Kings have replaced Sahibzada Farhan with Rohail Nazir. Multan Sultans have made three changes and included Aamir Azmat, Asif Afridi and Roman Raees in the final XI. 

Multan Sultans team for the match consists of Muhammad Rizwan (captain), Shaun Masood, Amir Azmat, Riley Russo, Khushdal Shah, Tim David, Roman Raees, Asif Afridi, Imran Tahir, Blessing Mazarbani, Shahnawaz Dhani. 

It should be noted that Karachi Kings have already been eliminated from the event before the play-off round after losing 7 matches in a row while Multan Sultans have reached the next stage by winning 6 out of 7 matches.
