Pisa 2021: Sonia Hussain Cried, the dramatic style of Ushna Shah
The second edition of Pakistan International Screen Awards was held in Dubai in which apart from the glorious red carpet moments of celebrities, something special has also come to light from the ceremony.
Apart from Pakistani showbiz celebrities, stars from Turkey and Arab countries also attended the event, which was held at the Jumeirah Arena in Dubai.
Highlights of the colorful PISA event have gone viral on social media since last night, let's take a look at a few.
Sonia Hussain on receiving the first award
Sonia Hussain, who played the role of a schizophrenia patient in the drama serial 'Sarab', bagged the Best Actress award. This was the 16th nomination in the 7-year career of the first time award winning Sonia Hussain. In the viral video, Sonia can be seen crying, during which she could not even speak.
Sonia has often complained that her work has not been recognized at major award functions. In August, after being nominated for the Lux Style Awards, Sonia expressed frustration that ratings were preferred to content. Mirage is a drama about social issues, but the Lux Style Awards administration has no value in the face of important dramas.
Ushna Shah's dramatic style
Actress Ushna Shah, dressed in a black furry gown, was the center of attention at the event.
Faryal Mahmood and Mehwish Hayat demand 'Once More'
A video from the event has gone viral on social media in which singer Sajjad Ali's brilliant performance ends with Faryal, Mehwish, Feroze Khan and other stars demanding 'Once Again'.
