Pakistan's new squad for the World Twenty20, the position of the chief selector came to the fore
Three changes have been made in Pakistan's starting squad for the World Twenty20 today and wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan and fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain have been dropped.
In this regard, the statement of the chief selector of the national cricket team Muhammad Waseem has also come to light.
Muhammad Waseem said that after reviewing the performance of the players, he made changes and made 3 changes in the squad in consultation with the team management.
The chief selector said that Haider Khan and Sarfraz Ahmed were included in the squad in place of Azam Khan and Mohammad Hasnain while Fakhr Zaman was removed from the list of reserve players and made a part of the 15-member squad. Shahnawaz Dhani was included in the reserve players in place of Fakhr Zaman.
Mohammad Waseem said the inclusion of the three players would give more balance to the national squad, adding that Azam Khan, Mohammad Hasnain and Khushdal Shah were disappointed.
Khushdal Shah has been included in the reserve players instead of Fakhr Zaman.
Mohammad Waseem said he was aware of the disappointment of Azam Khan, Mohammad Hasnain and Khushdal Shah, but instead of the three players, Sarfraz Ahmed, Haider Ali and Fakhr Zaman played better in the National T20. However, the first three players will be part of future plans.
