NICVD Corruption Case: Names of 3 persons included in ECL
Three persons involved in NICVD mega corruption case were barred from going abroad.
The names of Haider Awan, Dr Hamidullah Malik and Dawar Hussain involved in the case have been included in the ECL on the recommendation of NAB.
The NAB had recommended that the names of the three persons involved in cases of illegal recruitment and illegal tenders be included in the ECL. An inquiry is also underway in the NAB against these individuals.
The NAB had also recommended the inclusion of Nadeem Qamar, Executive Director, NICVD, in the ECL, which has not yet been approved.
It should be noted that the NICVD mega corruption case is also being heard in the Sindh High Court. The court at the last hearing directed to present the budget and comparison of NICVD and other hospitals on October 14.
The court also ordered re-examination of the cases of the governing body NICVD.
