Cricket Australia's statement regarding Pakistan tour came to light
Cricket Australia says it is reviewing the situation with regard to its scheduled tour of Pakistan next year.
The Australian cricket team is scheduled to visit Pakistan in February-March next year for a full series of Tests, ODIs and T20s.
However, after the arrival of New Zealand in Pakistan, the sudden withdrawal of the tour under the pretext of security threat and then the refusal to come to England, the tour of the Australian team has also been questioned.
When contacted by Geo News, Cricket Australia spokesman Cole Hitchcock told Geo News in a short message that Cricket Australia was reviewing the situation and would discuss the matter with the relevant authorities after receiving more information.
It should be noted that the Australian team last visited Pakistan in 1998 and since then Pakistan has played all its home series against Australia at neutral venues.
