According to the French news agency, two 17-year-old students were injured in a shooting at a high school in Newport News, Virginia, on Monday.

According to the news agency, the local police said that the accused who opened fire has been arrested after fleeing from the scene.

A 17-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were injured in the shooting and were taken to a hospital, where they are out of danger, police said.

 Police also denied reports of more shooters at other schools in the city.
