Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the law is the same for rich and poor in welfare states.


According to details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan on government reforms in Azad Jammu and Kashmir in which the government of Azad Kashmir provided economic development and employment, food security, improved service delivery, institutional reforms and law. A strategy for supremacy has been formulated.


Briefing the Prime Minister in the meeting, it was said that a plan of action for massive reforms in Azad Kashmir has been prepared which will be implemented in two phases while implementation of the said plan would be ensured in a timely manner by weekly planning.


Giving a briefing, it was said that in the first phase, over a period of six months, rehabilitation of sanitation system in cities, cleaning of canals and elimination of encroachments, reforms in education and health sector, rehabilitation and repair of infrastructure, electricity And the restoration of the existing clean water system, while the second phase involves long-term reforms.


Giving a briefing, it was also said that steps would be taken for economic development and employment generation, industrial development, facilitation of trade and promotion of tourism.


Briefing the Prime Minister in the meeting, it was further informed that measures for speedy completion of unfinished projects, monitoring of health and education sectors through modern technology, improvement of existing power system, reform of tax system and rule of law are also planned. Livestock, floriculture, horticulture and kitchen gardening will be promoted for food security.


Presiding over the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized the importance of the rule of law and said that the law is the same for the rich and the poor in welfare states.


Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that a comprehensive strategy for the promotion of tourism is being formulated and its early implementation is being ensured.


The meeting was attended by Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, Chief Secretary Azad Kashmir and concerned senior officials.
