The Board of Secondary Education announced the results of the 10th General Group (Regular and Private) and Hearing and Speech Impaired students for the 9th and 10th Annual Examinations 2022.

With the special instructions of Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, Chairman of Secondary Education Board Karachi and with the full support and expert advice of Syed Muhammad Ali Shaikh, Acting Secretary of the Board, Imran Tariq, the Acting Superintendent of Examinations, keeping in mind the wider interests of the students of Sindh province. 

The first among all educational boards announced the release of the results of the 9th and 10th annual examinations for the year 2022 of the 10th general group regular and private and hearing and speech impaired students.

According to the declaration, the results can be checked on the secondary board website www.bsek.edu.pk and SMS service by writing bsek and space and sending your roll number to 8583.

16 thousand 880 candidates were registered in general group regular and private exams and 16 thousand 454 candidates participated in the exams. 

According to the results, in the general group, Maidhat Bint Muhammad Aslam Roll No. 554226 of Bagh-i-Halar Girls Secondary School Nishtar Road secured first with 92% marks, Hafiza Manahil Ejaz Parikh Binte Ejaz Parikh of Trio Guide Grammar Secondary School Lyari got 91.63% marks. Second by securing marks while Hiba Zia bint Muhammad Ziaur Rehman Roll No. 554268 of Citizen Secondary School Girls Campus Bath Island secured third position with 91.27% marks.

11 thousand 258 candidates were registered in general group regular, in which 2976 male and 8282 female students joined while the success rate was 76.72 percent. Among the successful candidates, 255 obtained A grade, 1438 A grade, 2563 B grade, 2781 C grade, 1363 D grade and 68 E grade.

In Private General Group 5622 candidates registered and 5417 candidates appeared in the examinations, including 3912 male and 1710 female students. The success ratio in private group was 55.34%. Among the successful candidates, 36 A grade, 233 A grade, 824 B grade, 1137 C grade, 586 D grade and 30 E grade were obtained.

In the matriculation examinations, the overall success ratio in all general regular and private was 69.69 percent.

According to the secondary board, Kamal Kumar son of Ashok Kumar stood first with 90.8% marks, Maryam Aziz binte Aziz Ahmed stood second with 89% marks and Farah binte Asrar Ahmed stood third with 88.8% marks among special hearing and speech impaired students. Got the position, all three position holders belong to Absa School Defense Korangi Road.

On the release of the results for the first time across the province, Chairman Board Syed Sharaf Ali Shah praised the day and night hard work of the proctor of examinations and the expert advice of Acting Secretary Board Syed Muhammad Ali Shaikh, while the results committee. 

All the members also issued a certificate of appreciation to Imran Tariq, Acting Controller of Examinations.
