Ottawa: Pakistani truck art captivated viewers
An exhibition of Pakistan's famous traditional truck art was held in Ottawa, the capital of Canada, in which the participants showed great interest.
The busiest commercial section of Ottawa hosted an exhibition of Pakistan's famous and traditional truck art, attended by Pakistan's Ambassador Zaheer Janjua and Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson, as well as a large number of city councilors, Canadian officials and citizens.
Participants saw Pakistani artists painting beautiful, colorful flower petals, patterns and motifs representing Pakistan truck art on a high wall on a busy city highway.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador of Pakistan Zaheer Janjua said that Pakistan's truck art has become the most important part of our culture and social structure Has become the center of attention for art lovers all over the world.
In his address, he said that close and strong relations have been established between Pakistan and Canada on the basis of warmth and the two countries are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations this year. Many other programs were organized for this, including truck art exhibitions.
In his address, the Pakistani Ambassador also paid tribute to the Pakistani community in Canada for their role in bridging the gap between the two countries and for their full contribution in strengthening the bilateral relations.
He said that Pakistanis and Canadians of Pakistani descent living in Canada, like the rest of the world, are an asset to Pakistan and an important means of strengthening public relations between the two countries.
Addressing the event, Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson visited the capital and thanked the Pakistan High Commission and Pakistani artists for creating a beautiful example of Pakistani truck art for the benefit of the local population and tourists on the city's famous highway.
In his address, he described the relations between Pakistan and Canada as very strong and positive.
Earlier, an exhibition of Pakistani truck art was also organized in the Canadian Senate in which about 2 dozen Canadian Centers and Members of Parliament participated.
The event was jointly organized by the Canadian Center of Pakistani Origin and the Chairperson of the Human Rights Committee in the Canadian Senate, Salma Ataullah Jan and the Pakistan High Commission. Participated in the production of based images.
Under the auspices of the Pakistan High Commission, there will be an exhibition of truck art in the Canadian Parliament, after which a team of Pakistani artists will perform in Toronto and other Canadian cities.
