Inscriptions have been discovered on a rocky outcrop in the mountains near the holy city of Mecca in the Gulf state, according to the Saudi Archaeological Survey.

He said that Badia is one of the most important archeological sites in the southwest of the kingdom of Bani Amr. Many other ancient monuments have also been discovered around it, indicating the presence of antiquities.

He said that through a field survey of the area, I have recorded and documented many early Islamic writings found at these places. In addition to collections of Islamic writings, the museum of antiquities and national heritage remains a tourist attraction. The museum is designed by locals, visitors and travelers.

From the archeological and natural museums it seems that this area used to be a place of pilgrimage for some time. Reveals the early Arabic script and symbolizes the religious rites of that period.

Mashaal Asiri said that no special scientific research has been done on these impressions in Badia Bani Amr which is why they have studied these writings in the region, documented them, read their texts, analyzed their articles.

Emphasized the need to compare them with such writings of this period inside and outside the kingdom so that their chronological order would be known.

Mashaal Asiri says that most of the texts of the writings are uninterrupted and there are no dots on some of the letters.

Some inscriptions mention months or years, from which the Islamic and Arabic history of these impressions can be traced.

He explained that the study and analysis of the contents of the inscriptions reveals the names of the people, their lineage, nicknames, identification of religious formulas and prayers, spelling phenomena as well as the inscriptions on these stones. Contributes to the display of features.
