Decision not to conduct postmortem of heirs after death of National Assembly member Amir Liaquat Hussain

According to local Pakistani media, he was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but doctors said he had died before reaching the hospital.
According to police officials, a post-mortem was to be conducted at Jinnah Hospital Karachi to ascertain the cause of death but some members of the family took his body away without conducting post-mortem.
Syeda Bushra Iqbal, ex-wife of Amir Liaquat, has said in her message on social media, He will be taken to his final resting place.
She said that the funeral prayers of Amir Liaquat will be offered at Jamia Masjid Abdullah Shah Ghazi Clifton and burial will take place in the premises of the shrine.
Ramzan Chipa, head of Chhepa Foundation, received the body of Dr Amir Liaqat from Aga Khan Hospital, after which the body was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for postmortem. According to police surgeon Dr Samia, the family has taken away the body without postmortem.
On the other hand, in a video on social media, it can be seen that volunteers led by Ramzan Chipa are carrying away the body.
Earlier, speaking to a private TV channel, an official of Chipa, who had provided first aid to Amir Liaquat, said: Were running.
He said, ''It was about one o'clock, he was being taken to Jinnah Hospital, after which a call came on the way to take him to Aga Khan.''
It may be recalled that Aamir Liaquat had been in the midst of a controversy over his third marriage for some time, after which he had announced to leave the country.
Due to his death, yesterday session of the National Assembly has been adjourned till 5 pm tomorrow.
Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have expressed sorrow over his death.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan said, "I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing away of our National Assembly member Amir Liaquat."
