Former PM Nawaz Sharif's request to be repatriated through Interpol was rejected.
According to the report of Private news channel, a citizen of Karachi named Mahmood Akhtar Naqvi had filed a petition in the Sindh High Court seeking repatriation of Nawaz Sharif and Suleiman Shahbaz from London through Interpol.
The petition had demanded that Nawaz Sharif, Hassan, Hussain and Suleiman Shahbaz be repatriated through Interpol.
The Sindh High Court declared the petition inadmissible and rejected the plea of Nawaz Sharif, his two sons and Suleiman Shahbaz to be repatriated through Interpol.
The judiciary has said that the petition seems to be an attempt to gain more publicity than the public interest. The Supreme Court has ruled that the purpose of public interest should not be publicity.
''On the other hand, the government issued a passport to former finance minister Ishaq Dar.''
Ishaq Dar confirmed receipt of passport, he has been issued ordinary Pakistani passport.
Former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had submitted his passport documents to the London embassy.
Earlier, a passport was issued to PML-N leader and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. ''The validity of the passport issued to Nawaz Sharif is 10 years.''
No diplomatic passport was issued to Nawaz Sharif. Ordinary passport was issued to Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif can come to Pakistan at any time.
