The caretaker Prime Minister Imran Khan has named a US official who has threatened Pakistan.
At a meeting of the PTI Political Committee in Bani Gala, Imran Khan said that for the meeting which took place between the Ambassador of Pakistan and the Representative of the United States Donald Lowe, note takers were sitting on both sides of the meeting. Minutes were released.
Donald Lowe is the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, and he met the Pakistani ambassador.
Meanwhile, US official Donald Trump, who had threatened Pakistan, visited India yesterday, where a journalist asked, ''Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan says you have sent a message to the Pakistani ambassador. If that happened then Pakistan would be in trouble.''
The journalist asked if you had sent a message to Pakistan that if Imran Khan remained then Pakistan would be in trouble. He said that he was watching the current situation in Pakistan closely and would support and respect the constitutional and legal process in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan named the US official who threatened Pakistan. Talking to party leaders, he said that US Ambassador Donald had met the Pakistani ambassador. Donald is US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the no-confidence motion against me was a foreign agenda.
Thank God the conspiracy against the country has failed. The agenda rejected by the foreign powers was rejected by the speaker. The nation will not allow such a conspiracy to succeed. The National Security Committee had all the service chiefs including the army chief.
The no-confidence motion was a conspiracy abroad. It was all a connection. I ask the nation to prepare for the elections.
On the other hand, the private TV channel has said in its report that it has been revealed that changes have been made in the alleged letter claimed by Prime Minister Imran Khan regarding external conspiracy.
Imran Khan refused to go for no-confidence motion and decided to dissolve the assembly. That letter itself is dubious.
It may be recalled that in the National Assembly session, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly said that under Article 5 of the Constitution, the government cannot be changed at the behest of any foreign power.
''Declaring it a violation of the Constitution, it is rejected and the session of the National Assembly is adjourned indefinitely.''
