According to Chinese state media, a Boeing 737 of China Eastern Airlines with 133 people on board crashed in Guangxi province. The crash happened in a mountainous area, which caused a forest fire.
Flight MU5735 was en route from Kunming to Guangzhou at 1:15 a.m. local time when it crashed, but the death toll from the crash is not yet known.
Meanwhile, a US plane participating in a NATO military exercise in Norway crashed, killing all four American soldiers on board.
According to a foreign news agency, NATO military exercises are underway in Norway and on April 1. As many as 30,000 troops, 200 aircraft and 50 ships from member countries are taking part in the military exercises, which will continue till now.
It is reported that during these military exercises, the American warplane crashed and caught fire as soon as the plane crashed. There were 4 American soldiers in the plane who were killed on the spot but the cause of the accident is not immediately known.
While there were strong winds and rain during the flight, this could be the cause of the accident for which an inquiry committee has been formed.
On the other hand, the world's largest Ukrainian aircraft was parked in a hangar at Ukraine's Hostomile Airport, which was destroyed during the bilateral bombardment by Russia and Ukraine. It was the only aircraft of its kind in the world.
