Why didn't Lata Mangeshkar accept to make a film on his life?
Whenever a producer expressed interest in making a film on the life of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who has been in the Indian entertainment industry for over eight decades, the singer denied it.
''Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6 at the age of 92.'' His last rites were performed with full honors and were attended by prominent personalities from all over the country, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, including Bollywood's King Khan Shah Rukh, Vidya Balan and others.
Despite her illustrious career and decades of success, Lata never wanted to make a film about her life. It is said that many producers showed interest in her biography but the singer did not encourage it.

Leading Pakistani journalist Tahir Sarwar Mir, who has extensive reporting experience in the film industry of Pakistan and India, told that Lata Mangesh wanted to marry Salamat Ali Khan, who rose to fame after emigrating from Pakistan and including Britain. Apart from performing in countries, he also visited India several times.
In 2013, an interview with Lata came to light in which the singer beautifully evaded the question of love and marriage.
Lata said, "Some things only the heart should know."
Lata Mangeshkar, popular in India, was awarded the country's third highest civilian award, the Padma Bhashan in 1969, the second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan in 1999, and the Bharat Ratna in 2001.
