The Drug Regulatory Authority says citizens will now be able to test corona at home. According to the details, the Drug Regulatory Authority (DRAP) has decided to make the corona testing kit available to the public and allow citizens to sell over-the-counter kits for corona testing at home. Corona test kits will now be available at medical stores and pharmacies, and citizens will be able to test corona at home.
In this regard, the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan also issued a notification. The Medical Device Board has decided that when you test for Corona at home, it may help reduce the spread of Corona. Therefore, Corona self test kits are allowed to be sold in pharmacies and medical stores in the market.
Earlier, self-corona test kits were available in the market but they were not allowed to be sold by the government.
It should be noted that the spread of Corona across the country sounded the alarm again. During the last 24 hours, the rate of positive cases was recorded at 9.85%. The corona virus killed 29 people, bringing the death toll to 29,330. The number of confirmed cases of Corona in Pakistan has reached 1.436 million. In addition, the condition of 1559 patients is critical.
According to the latest figures from the National Command and Operations Center, 6,047 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours: 4,82,316 in Punjab, 5,44,722 in Sindh, 196,328 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 96,328 in Balochistan. 34,501 cases were reported in Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,737 in Islamabad, 1,29,004 in Islamabad and 38,805 in Azad Kashmir. A total of 2,51,34,775 people have been tested across the country so far, 61,190 new tests have been done in the last 24 hours, so far 1,34,980 patients have recovered while the condition of 1,559 patients is critical.
