Citizen Portal Action: After 52 years, ''the land was given to the rightful owner''
A petitioner had lodged a complaint against the occupation mafia in Wazirabad on Citizen Portal
Pakistan Citizen Portal (PCP) took immediate action on the citizen's complaint and returned the land seized years ago. According to details, a citizen lodged a complaint against the Occupy Mafia on the website of Pakistan Citizen Portal and immediate action was taken against him. The concerned administration took action and returned the land occupied for 52 years to the complainant.
A petitioner had lodged a complaint against the Occupy Mafia in Wazirabad. The complainant alleged that the Occupy Mafia had occupied the land worth Rs. 30 million on contract several years ago. Muhammad Ali, a Pakistani petitioner based in Muscat, thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Citizen Portal for returning the land.
It may be recalled that the Pakistan Citizen Portal was created in October 2018 on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Under this, people from all over the country can lodge complaints against any government department, local bodies and others. This platform has provided a voice for redressal of grievances of the common man in the true sense of the word. Last month, the Citizen Portal solved the 16-month-old case of the petitioner within a month.
The petitioner had complained about non-payment of dues of his late father. The late Manzoor Ahmed had complained to the concerned department for recovery of dues in his lifetime. Manzoor Ahmed's son also used to visit offices for his father's duties but no hearing could be held. After the action of Citizen Portal, all the dues of the late father of the petitioner were paid. The petitioner thanked the Prime Minister Imran Khan and the PMDU team for resolving the issue immediately.
In December last year, a complaint on Citizen Portal returned the land to the citizen after 100 years. Former Federal Additional Secretary Ahsan Malik lodged a complaint on Citizen Portal for not getting land of his grandmother. After 100 years, the land was reclaimed. Former Federal Additional Secretary Ahsan Malik expressed special thanks to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for resolving the immediate complaint on Citizen Portal.
