This is what happened in China and the viewers of a famous Hollywood movie were shocked when the movie stopped in the very interesting and climax stages and the story was changed in such a way that the government officials won.
This is the famous Hollywood movie 'Fight Club' which the Chinese fans did not get to see the original closing scene.

Fight Club: The journey from flop movie to masterpiece
The Hollywood film Fight Club, released in 1999, was not very successful at the time of its release, but over time, its complex story and excellent acting made it one of the few Hollywood masterpieces.
The film stars Brad Pitt and Edward Norton in the lead roles and is directed by David Fincher.
The story begins with the character of Edward Norton who is not happy with his life and job. He meets Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) and the two start an underground fight club.
But Tyler Durden actually wants to violently revolutionize society for which he has a secret plan.
The project has been dubbed the 'Project Campaign' or 'Destruction Plan' in which many buildings have to be blown up but at the same time Edward Norton's character realizes that Tyler has his own idea and In this way, he kills himself and also destroys Tyler, after which the buildings are destroyed by explosions.
How did the story change in China?
It should be noted that the film has recently been released on streaming platform Tencent Video in China in which the story has been completely changed.
The film, which is being shown in China, stops the screen before the explosions and a message appears stating that the police have foiled the plot and arrested all the culprits, leaving Tyler Durden insane for treatment. The box has been moved.
In the same message, the movie-goers are told that with the information obtained from Tyler, the police soon came to know the whole plan and defused all the bombs before they exploded.
Viewers are also informed that there is a lawsuit in this case, after which Tyler is transferred to a lunatic asylum for treatment and in 2012 he recovers and is discharged from the hospital.

The film is based on a 1996 novel by Fight Club, written by Chuck Palanovic. Reacting to the change in the story in China, he said on Twitter, "This is a very high point. Everyone in China has seen a happy ending."
He later wrote on another online platform, SubStack, "I had no idea how great it was. Justice always wins. There was no explosion.
In China, if no one had seen the original film, things would probably not be so big. But there were many who made the change a hot topic on social media and did not stop at the movie audience.
