Naseem Shah bowled Rutherford on the first ball of the last over then Zalmai needed 3 runs off five balls. Shoaib Malik took a run off the fourth ball to give Zalmai the victory.

He faced 32 balls and played a match winning innings of 48 not out, which included a four and four sixes. Shoaib Malik proved that there is no substitute for experience.
