Former boxing champion: 'I will burn medals if left untreated'
''If I am not reinstated and treated, I will burn my national and international gold medals in protest outside the Karachi Press Club.'' What do I do with these medals now? '
This is to say that the famous boxing star of Pakistan Abdul Rasheed Qambrani who was the national champion of Pakistan for 16 years, was declared the gold medalist of Safe Game twice and was ranked fifth in Asia's top and world rankings.
Abdul Rasheed Qambrani moved to his sister's house in Karachi, Pakistan's largest city, a few weeks ago when he suffered an arm fracture in an accident.
He has also had deep wounds on his leg over the years. According to Abdul Rasheed Qambrani, he could not pay Rs 25,000 to the doctors for the treatment, so he refused the treatment, after which he put a useless tube of motorcycle tire on his arm and leg.
Apart from Abdul Rasheed Qambrani, five other occupants are also living in the one-room house.
Abdul Rasheed Qambrani says that he took refuge in this house under duress because after working in Steel Mill Karachi for 27 years, I was told a few weeks ago that I have now been fired. The house in Steel Mill's residential colony also had to be vacated.
Second Muhammad Ali Clay: The glorious past of Abdul Rasheed Qambrani
According to Abdul Rasheed Qambrani, when I was a child, my brother Muhammad Younis Qambrani used to give me the most rigorous training. And there was fruit.
According to Abdul Rasheed Qambrani, when he entered the ring, the crowd chanted Ali Ali's slogans.
He said,''When I went to the boxing ring, people would remember Muhammad Ali Clay when they saw me fighting.'' Abdul Rasheed Qambrani says, "People called me another Muhammad Ali Clay."

Hasn't taken medicine for a week: Sad story of Abdul Rasheed Qambrani
Abdul Rasheed Qambrani says that he was already suffering from leg and heart problems but a few days ago, his arm was also fractured due to a collision with a motorcyclist.
When he went to the hospital for treatment, he said that he would come three days later and also told him to bring fifteen thousand rupees. I had a lot of discussions with him about what fifteen thousand rupees was but he did not agree. I managed the money for three days but when I went to the hospital three days later, they said it would cost 25,000.
Now where does it come from in 25,000? Fifteen thousand was spent on something else, after which I adopted my indigenous treatment.
He bought a defective tube from a puncturer for Rs. 200 and cut it and put it on his arm and leg.
''At least I didn't go down without explaining myself first.''
He said,''At the moment I don't even have money for my heart disease medicine.'' The sister is trying, but what can she do?
''I am at my sister's house and my children are at my grandparents' house. My wife is dead. I can't even see them for many days due to illness. It is very painful to be separated from children at this age.I can't even keep them because there is no place to live.''
He preferred Pakistan overseas
Abdul Rasheed Qambrani says that the time when I got a job in a steel mill was when I had won the national championship for the first or second time. After that I won Safe Games for the first time, after which I was invited to join Steel Mill, so I gladly accepted the offer at that time with a monthly salary of about 7,000.
''That time was my heyday,''According to him.
According to Abdul Rasheed Qambrani, "I was invited to play and go to Japan and the United States, but I preferred Pakistan and Steel Mill."
According to him, “Today, when I was fired from the steel mill, after almost 27 years, my salary was Rs. 57,000. I'm not saying give me bungalows, apartments and cars. It does not say give millions of rupees but I do say that I will not be deprived of my right.
The former Pakistan boxing star says: "I have never bowed my head. The flag of Pakistan was kept the highest in color. Now I am very much compelled by disease and circumstances. Still, I would say that I do not want anything more than my right.
Boxing career challenges
Abdul Rasheed Qambrani said that it was not that there were no problems in my boxing career, that career was also full of problems.
''I had qualified for the world championships by winning a silver medal in the Asian Championships after a tough competition but I could not participate in these competitions due to lack of budget at that time,''According to him.
According to Abdul Rasheed Qambrani, despite this, he did not give up. He had won medals in SAFE Games and Asian Games but also won medals for Pakistan in Iran, Bulgaria and many other international competitions.
''He truly gave his life and youth to Pakistan and boxing,'' he says
