Prime Minister Imran Khan has visited 47 foreign countries since taking oath

Details of expenses incurred by Prime Minister Imran Khan on 47 foreign trips have come to light. 

''A report on the details of Prime Minister Imran Khan's foreign trips during the last three years was tabled in the Upper House at the request of the opposition,'' According to details.

 According to the report,'' presented in the Senate, Prime Minister Imran Khan made three foreign trips in the year 2018, at a cost of over Rs.4 crore 56 lakh 15 thousand rupees.''

The Prime Minister had visited UAE, China and Malaysia in 2018. 

''According to the report, in the year 2019, the Prime Minister paid 16 foreign visits,at a cost of Rs.11 crore 69 lakh 11 thousand.'' After that, the Prime Minister paid 4 foreign visits in the year 2020 and these trips cost more than Rs. 1 crore 36 lakh 37 thousand.

According to the details presented in the Senate, Prime Minister Imran Khan paid five foreign visits in the year 2021.


''These foreign trips of the Prime Minister cost more than Rs. 2 crore 76 lakh 2 thousand . According to the report, the Prime Minister has visited 47 foreign countries since taking oath.''

The total expenditure on foreign tours was more than Rs. 20 crore 37 lakh 67 thousand . It may be recalled that before coming to power, Imran Khan had promised to protect the tax money of the people and reduce the expenditure. Seven times less than traveling expenses.

In this regard, a report came out in June last year, according to which the austerity policy formulated by Prime Minister Imran Khan even after he came to power, he strictly followed in the first three years of his rule. According to details released by the party, Prime Minister Imran Khan reduced the expenses of the Prime Minister's House and the Prime Minister's residence by 40%.
