Assassination attack on PML-N leader Bilal Yasin in Lahore. According to details, Bilal Yasin, a member of the Punjab Assembly and senior leader of the opposition Pakistan Muslim League-N, was assassinated in Lahore. According to media reports, a member of Punjab Assembly was seriously injured in the firing of unknown persons after which he was shifted to hospital.
According to media reports, Bilawal Yaseen received 3 bullets after which he was shifted to nearby Mayo Hospital. In this regard, the police said that two masked unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on Bilawal Yaseen as a result of which two bullets hit him in the abdomen and one in the leg. The assailants fled after the shooting.
Bilawal Yaseen was going to PML-N House on a motorcycle when he was attacked on the way.
According to police, the League leader was returning home on a motorcycle after injuring a party worker when he was attacked. While MS Mayo Hospital also confirmed that Bilawal Yaseen has taken 3 pills, after which he is undergoing treatment in the emergency room of Mayo Hospital. The bullets will be surgically removed from the abdomen and leg of the MP. According to MS Mayo Hospital, senior surgeons were called for the treatment of Bilal Yaseen after which he reached the hospital.
On the other hand, on learning of the incident, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar immediately demanded a report of the incident from CCPO Lahore and ordered immediate arrest of the attackers. Meanwhile, League leaders including Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz have expressed concern over the assassination attempt on Bilawal Yasin. Shahbaz Sharif condemned the incident and appealed to the people to pray for the recovery of Bilal Yasin.
