West Indies tour of Pakistan: Sharjeel, Ahmed Shehzad likely to return
Young cricketers will be given a chance during the West Indies tour of Pakistan.
The names of Sharjeel Khan, Sahibzada Farhan and Ahmed Shehzad are also being considered during the series against West Indies.
Cricketers who did not get a chance in the squad during the ICCT20 World Cup will also be fed against West Indies.
Captain Babar Azam has suggested 15 out of 18 boys to the selection committee.
Senior players will be rested against West Indies including Shoaib Malik, Emad Wasim Sarfraz Ahmed and Mohammad Hafeez.
On the other hand, Mohammad Rizwan, Hassan Ali and Shaheen Afridi will rest in either the ODI or T20 International series. The T20 squad against the West Indies is expected to be announced in the next day or two.
It is to be noted that the 3 T20 series against West Indies will start from December 13 in Karachi while the ODI series will be played from December 18.
Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Hafeez out of the series
According to a report of a private news agency, the announcement of the national squad for the home series against West Indies is expected in a day or two in which it has been decided not to include Shoaib Malik and Muhammad Hafeez.
According to reports, the players in the White Ball squad will gather in Karachi on December 9 and begin training after a day of isolation and code testing, while former captain Sarfraz Ahmed and all-rounder Emad Wasim will also be included in the series against the West Indies. Rest is possible.
