Iran seeks bail from US over nuclear deal
Iran has called on the United States to lift sanctions on Washington, saying that Washington would not give up once talks on a nuclear deal resumed.
Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzada said Washington should guarantee that no administration in the United States would mock international and international law and repeat its practice of withdrawing from treaties.
The State Department spokesman also called on the White House to "fully and effectively lift sanctions on the United States."
Last week, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani said talks with the world powers on a nuclear deal would resume on November 29. The European Union (EU) has confirmed the resumption of talks.
In this regard, six rounds of talks have been completed so far in which besides the United States, China, Russia, Germany, France and the United Kingdom directly participated.
Former US President Donald Trump imposed sanctions on Iran in May 2018, separating the United States from the JCPOA agreement (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action).
Joe Biden announced during the election campaign that if elected, the United States would be part of this important agreement again.
