Rains wreak havoc in China

The torrential rains in China's northern province of Shenzhen have wreaked havoc and forced millions to flee.

According to Chinese media, heavy rains in Shen Zi last week caused landslides in 70 districts of the province, destroying several houses.

According to local media, more than 1.76 million people in the province were severely affected by the rains for several days.

Chinese officials say 120,000 people were immediately evacuated due to the flooding caused by heavy rains, while about 17,000 houses were destroyed in various accidents and 4 due to landslides. Police officers were also killed, but officials did not provide further details.

China's meteorological department says torrential rains have severely hampered relief efforts.

According to China's state news agency, the flood situation in Shen Zhi is more devastating than the floods in Hunan province earlier this year.

It should be noted that the recent tourist situation in China took place in less than three months, after which about 300 people were killed due to heavy rains in Hunan province of China.
