Meeting between Afghan Taliban and US delegation in Doha
Two US State Department officials will meet with a delegation from the Islamic Emirate led by Acting Secretary of State Maulvi Amir Khan Mottaki.
The meeting discussed the evacuation of US citizens and Afghans working with the United States from Afghanistan, the provision of US aid, the presence of al-Qaeda fighters in Afghanistan and the denial of terrorist groups to use Afghan territory, according to the World News Agency. There will be discussions.
It should be noted that the high-level delegation led by Maulvi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of the Afghan Interim Government, arrived in Qatar. Other members include Delaware and Haji Muhammad Ibrahim.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said the delegation would also meet with officials from Qatar and other countries during its visit.
