Meeting of the British Special Representative with Mullah Baradar, Abdul Salam
The British Special Representative for Afghanistan, Simon Gass, met on Tuesday in Kabul with Mullah Baradar and Mullah Abdul Salam Khanfi, Deputy Prime Ministers of Afghanistan.
According to Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi, the Special Envoy of the British Prime Minister Simon Gass met with the delegation in the capital Kabul today.
The spokesman said that diplomatic relations and other issues between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Afghanistan Mullah Baradar said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wants good relations with the United Kingdom and the rest of the world.
Taliban leaders also called on the international community to release Afghanistan's frozen assets.
On the other hand, Simon Gass assured the officials of the Islamic Emirate that the United Kingdom would continue to provide assistance through the United Nations and other organizations.
On the other hand, the US Secretary of State has also appealed to the American citizens to help the Afghan refugees in the US.

On the other hand, according to a statement issued by the British Foreign Office, the Special Representative of the Prime Minister Boris Johnson met with Taliban leaders in Afghanistan to discuss the humanitarian crisis and ways to prevent the country from becoming a haven for militants.
The Foreign Office said Boris Johnson's special envoy for Afghanistan, Simon Gass, met with Taliban leaders, including Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Abdul Salam Hanafi and Amir Khan Muttaqi.
According to the British office in Khaja, the meeting discussed the need for British assistance to Afghanistan in tackling the humanitarian crisis, preventing the country from becoming a haven for terrorists and providing a safe haven for those wishing to leave the country.
The British Foreign Office says Simon Gass also raised the issue of treatment of minorities in Afghanistan and the rights of women and girls.
