Crackdown against illegal currency trade, crores of rupees recovered
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is cracking down on smuggling of currency and illegal hoarding .
According to the FIA, the crackdown, which began on a large scale, resulted in 51 raids across the country, especially in the border areas, in which 15 suspects were detained.
According to FIA officials, 8 cases have been registered and Rs 67 million has been recovered from the accused.
According to the FIA, more than 20 shops in Peshawar have been sealed for allegedly engaging in foreign exchange business.
