Talks with TTP in Afghanistan with Taliban support: PM
Prime Minister Imran Khan says he is in talks with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in an interview to Turkish TV said that some groups of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) want to talk to the government, we are also in touch with some groups of the TTP.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that talks were underway to disarm the banned TTP and make them ordinary Pakistani citizens.
Imran Khan said that the Afghan Taliban were playing the role of mediator in the talks with the banned TTP. Replying to a question,
The Taliban mediation is to such an extent that the talks are taking place in Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister said that if the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) surrenders, it will be forgiven, the banned TTP can live like ordinary citizens.
Talking about the situation in Afghanistan, Prime Minister Imran Khan always said that there is no military solution to the problem of Afghanistan.
