Important instructions regarding extension of FBR statement submission date
The Federal Board of Revenue has issued important guidelines for extending the date for filing income tax returns.

A statement issued by the FBR said that the extension can be applied to the relevant regional offices or online while the regional offices set up a helpdesk to receive tax applications.
The FBR says applicants for the extension must provide their National Tax Number and National Identity Card number, and regional offices have been asked to make generous decisions for the extension.
It should be noted that the FBR has decided in principle not to extend the date for submission of income tax returns.
