When Cuba responded to Israel in support of the Palestinians at the United Nations

A video has gone viral on social media in which an Israeli representative at a UN Watch meeting called for a minute of silence against the Holocaust. Participants also stood in silence and expressed solidarity.
On this occasion, the female representative of Cuba called it irrelevant and said that it was wrong for the Israeli representative to request a minute's silence. ''It is the prerogative of the chairman''.
The Cuban envoy added that if silence is to be maintained, it should be for the Palestinians who have been martyred in the region.
It is believed that the video was made a few years ago, but it is going viral again on the occasion of the recent session of the UN General Assembly.
