According to the news agency, the election results show that out of the 63-member parliament, 33 seats have been won by women, ie women have got 52% share in the parliament.
According to a World Bank report, no European country has previously had more than 50 percent women MPs, although Sweden has about 47 percent of seats.

In Rwanda 61%, in Cuba 53%, in Nicaragua 51% and in Mexico and the United Arab Emirates 50.50% of the seats are held by women members.
