 UN: Blind Pakistani envoy responds to India on Kashmir

Blind Pakistani envoy Saima Saleem

Saima Saleem, a member of Pakistan's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, did not allow blindness to become her weakness and won the hearts of all by giving a solid answer to India on the Kashmir issue.


In the General Assembly, Saima Saleem presented the case of Kashmir in a very concrete manner and said that Occupied Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute, let the world take notice of Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.


Saima Saleem said that the Kashmir dispute should be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions.


Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry also paid tribute to Saima Saleem for raising the issue of Kashmir in the UN General Assembly.


Fawad Chaudhry said that Saima is visually impaired but the manner in which she spoke shows that her heart can see everything.


Remember that Saima Saleem is the first blind civil servant of Pakistan and a diplomat.
