Notice issued to Nawaz Sharif's sister regarding Umrah land belonging to Sharif family
A Lahore local court has issued notices to Chief Settlement Commissioner and Nawaz Sharif's sister Kausar Yousuf for October 1 on a petition against the cancellation of the Sharif family's inherited transfer of Jati Umrah land.
Civil Judge Imran Ishaq issued a written order on the claim of Yousuf Abbas Sharif.
The court wrote in the written order that the court compliant should also take pictures of receiving the notice. After compliance with the court notice, a map of the opportunity behind the notices should also be made.
The court also directed to send notices to the Chief Settlement Commissioner and Kausar Yousuf by post.
Yousuf Abbas has taken a stand in the petition that after the death of his grandmother, he applied to the Patwari of the Finance Department for transfer of inheritance but the Patwari refused to register the inheritance transfer of land under the pressure of the present government.
The petitioner contends that the ownership and status of the land is being changed illegally under the pressure of the present government. It is requested that the concerned authorities be restrained from changing the ownership and status of the land owned by the grandmother.
