Taliban spokesman orders arrest of desecrators of Pakistani flag
Taliban spokesman and Deputy Information Minister Zabihullah Mujahid lamented the removal of the Pakistani flag from a truck carrying relief supplies.
Zabihullah Mujahid said that an order has been issued to arrest and disarm those who have desecrated the Pakistani national flag by removing it from a Pakistani aid truck at Torkham.
He said it was a tragedy because it was a relief truck.
"We are deeply saddened by this incident. All the leaders have expressed their regret over it. Such incidents will be prevented in the future," he added.
It may be recalled that on the Pak-Afghan border at Torkham, an incident took place when Taliban fighters took down a Pakistani flag from a truck carrying relief goods.
The video of the incident is going viral on social media in which it can be seen that the militants took down the Pakistani flag from the truck and then chanted slogans.
