A new guideline has been issued for the pilgrims going to Iraq on the occasion of Arbaeen
KARACHI: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has issued a new travel guide for visitors to Iraq on the occasion of Arbaeen.
''According to the new civil aviation guidelines, it has been decided to apply the vaccine condition to passengers aged 17 and above, under which visitors under the age of 17'' going to Iraq will be exempted from the corona vaccine.
The guideline states that visitors must undergo a corona test 48 hours before returning to Pakistan, a rapid antigen test at airports upon their return to Pakistan, and a 48-hour quarantine.
''Passengers will be allowed to be quarantined at the Department of Health's quarantine center or at a designated place at their own expense''.
The new guidelines of the Civil Aviation Authority will come into force immediately.
