Democrat senator advises President Biden to contact PM Imran Khan
In light of the current situation in Afghanistan, US President Joe Biden has come under increasing pressure to contact Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Democrat Senator Chris Wayne has said that in the context of the Afghan situation, President Joe Biden should contact Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Chris Wayne added that there is no obstacle in the way of communication between President Biden and Imran Khan, the US Secretary of State, Secretary of Defense and senior officials have full contact with Pakistani officials.
The Democrat senator said the international community needs to put pressure on the Taliban so that the Taliban can represent every school of thought and group in the Afghan government.
He said the Taliban should ensure that Afghan soil is not used for future terrorism.
