Large-scale exchange of Pakistani diplomats decided
ISLAMABAD: It has been decided to make large-scale transfers and appointments of Pakistani diplomats.
New ambassadors have been appointed to key countries. According to sources, it has been decided to appoint Nabil Munir as South Korea's ambassador. Additional Secretary Dr. Tariq will be the new ambassador to Algeria.
It has been decided to appoint Special Secretary Dr Khalid Memon as Ambassador to Poland while Farooq Malik in Poland will be posted in Kuwait. Syed Sajjad Haider, Pakistan's Ambassador to Kuwait is retiring and Salman Athar will be the new Ambassador to Lebanon.
Najib Durrani posted in Lebanon will be the new ambassador to Mexico, Dr Imran Chaudhry will be the new ambassador to Oman, Shahid Sehhar will be the new ambassador to Djibouti, Murad Basir is being posted to Zimbabwe.
Farhat Ayesha will be the new ambassador to Ghana, Saqib Rauf will be the new ambassador to Senegal, Sadia Altaf Qazi will be the consul general in Los Angeles and Salman Babar Baig will be the consul general in Barcelona.
