Lance Naik martyred while serving in the UN Mission, ISPR
The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) says Lance Naik Adil Jan was martyred while serving in the UN Mission in Darfur.
''According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Lance Naik Adil Jan of FC Balochistan has been martyred while performing his duties in the UN peacekeeping mission in Darfur''.
According to ISPR, Adil Jan Shaheed Darfar was on duty in the peace mission to protect civilians and carry out relief work.
Lance Naik, 38, of FC Balochistan, was a resident of Adil Jan Lakki Marwat, ISPR said.
ISPR says that under the UN mission, Pakistan has worked hard for world peace and stability.
The ISPR further said that 161 Pakistani personnel, including Adil Jan, have sacrificed their lives while serving in various peace missions around the world.
