Telephone communication between the Prime Minister and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed of Abu Dhabi
Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Deputy Chief of the UAE Armed Forces and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have had a telephone conversation.
According to the statement, the two leaders discussed the situation in Afghanistan, including issues of mutual interest.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister said that relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates are fraternal and close.
On the situation in Afghanistan, he said that a peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakistan and the region. Political settlement is the best solution for security in Afghanistan. Political settlement is important for protection of rights of Afghan citizens.
According to the statement, the Prime Minister congratulated the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi on the excellent arrangements for Expo 2020 and wished him success in the event.
The two leaders agreed to work together in all areas of mutual interest, the statement said.
