Syed Emad of Pakistan won the World Youth Scrabble Tournament
Karachi: Pakistan's Syed Emad Ali made history by winning the World Youth Scrabble Cup.
The Corona epidemic brought the World Youth Scrabble Championships online and Pakistan hosted the Virtual Championships for the second time in a row.
In the two-day finals, the top ten players played 13 games, while the Pakistani team finished first in the Scrabble tournament.
Emad Ali defeated his opponents in 9 out of 13 games in the finals while Pakistan's Hisham Hadi Khan finished 7th after winning 7 games.
Syed Emad Ali became the World Youth Scrabble Champion for the second time. Emad also won the championship in Dubai in 2018.
Emad Ali has become the first player in the world to win the World Youth Scrabble title twice.
In addition, Syed Emad Ali has become the most successful scrabble player in Pakistan. Emad Ali has won three world titles so far.
Syed Emad has won the World Youth Scrabble Cup twice and the Junior World Championship once.
