Kabul: The Taliban has announced the formation of an Islamic government in Afghanistan four days after the conquest of Kabul.
According to the English website of the Russian news channel "RT", the announcement of the establishment of an Islamic government in Afghanistan, ie the Islamic Emirate, was made by the spokesman of the Afghan Taliban Zabihullah Mujahid in a tweet.
In the same tweet, he also shared a picture of the flag and official emblem of "The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan".
Zabihullah Mujahid said in his statement that the Islamic Emirate was established 102 years after the controversial British occupation of Afghanistan.
He also said that August 19 would be celebrated every year as "Independence Day from the Colonial Superpowers".
